CONGO: Updated News -Schoolbuilding for Mushapo
Since we didn’t have our own living quarters in Kinshasa for over 1 ½ years we stayed with different friends there or on the farm in Mushapo. The living conditions on the farm are getting worse with no electricity, internet, running water or medical care.

Because of this difficult logistical situation and Lenka’s weaker health we decided to move our base to Prague and make two trips per year to Congo. To oversee the work there we found some wonderful people who want to help us. Jean, the manager on the farm in Mushapo, is overseeing the construction of the school and wants to work with us on the project. Jos from Holland also wants to continue to help us, and we found a new volunteer, Manuela from Germany who worked with us in Congo already in 2004. Both are planning to come for half a year for now.

When we are in EU we are planning to raise awareness, funds and doing promotion for our work in Congo, keep working on our new four lingual website and win people for our project on top of the regular emails and other organizational work we normally have. Also we’d like to invest some time into the spiritual aspect of our work. We meet a lot of people in Germany and the Czech Republic who have questions about their life and faith and we’d like to share with them what we’ve learned over the years along those lines.
