ADH_logo2 (2)ADH stands for “Active Direct Help” — precisely our principle: We ensure that the help goes directly to where it is needed.

Since its beginning in 2000, the association “ADH” engaged in development projects in the African countries of Guinea, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Zambia, Cameroon and South Africa, also China and other foreign countries.

SInce the year 2004, ADH co-founders, Wolfgang and Lenka Schmidt, focused their activities mainly on the Democratic Republic of the Congo. To pursue the goal of making the project long-term and self-sufficient, we established in the Congo an subsidiary association “ADH Congo Asbl” with Congolese members and with the same goals as its parent association: recognising the need and improving the local living conditions. Because we work on a volunteer basis, we are grateful to our friends and supporters that make our work possible and help us to help!
